Finally . . . some new designs!

Well it may look as though we have been doing nothing since 2009 but in truth we have been busy creating plenty - just too busy / lazy to post them!

It seems that the world is swarming with owls & babushkas at the moment so just trying to keep up, we gave them the Hot Possum touch.

Our owl quilt is affectionally called 'Wednesday Owls' as we have a truely wonderful group of ladies that come to the shop every Wednesday. They faithfully arrive each week with their project tucked under one arm & a scrumptious homemade lunch & a fresh baked cake under the other. Over the past two years we have all shared our ups & downs with each other, had a few laughs & they have produced an inspiring collection of work. We love them so much we named a quilt after them. They are all doing their own version of the quilt so i'll post photos as they finish them.

'Catilicious' was the result of me finally relenting to the constant demands for a cat quilt - I am not a cat lover so it was no easy task for me! . . . but now it is finished I love it & have all sorts of other cat projects on the go!

We have been overwhelmed with the response to our 'Babushkas' - it was a huge hit at both the Perth & Sydney craft fairs. There are plenty being made in class at the moment & I have a few people busy sewing some exciting new projects to accompany it so watch this space!

It goes without saying that all patterns are available on line & in the shop & we can always make you a kit in what ever crazy colour scheme you would like.

It feels good to be back in 'blogland' & Denise & I have a renewed enthusiasm to keep this thing up-to-date . . . feel free to nag us if we slip again!! x x Claire
